A brief introduction
Gerbrich Meijer, originally from the Netherlands, is an internationally active chamber musician, soloist and orchestral player. In December 2023 her debut album for AVRO TROS will be released. Gerbrich is a nominee of Dutch Classical Talent of 2023/24, the Grachtenfestival Award 2022 and recipient of the 'Special Prize' at the Carl Nielsen International Competition 2022. Currently pursuing her Soloist Class Degree at the Royal Danish Academy of music. Gerbrich is a recent graduate for the Master of Music degree at the esteemed Colburn Conservatory of Music in Los Angeles, where she studied with Professor Yehuda Gilad.

In 2022 Gerbrich was soloist with among others Camerata Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra. She has performed with symphony orchestras like the Londen Symphony Orchestra, Danish Radio, Residentie Orkest, Noord Nederlands Orkest, Copenhagen Philharmonic and the European Union Youth Orchestra. Previously, Gerbrich studied with John Kruse at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen where she graduated with the highest distinction. Furthermore Gerbrich will be touring with her One Woman Show throughout the Netherlands in the fall of 2023.
